What's up Abu Dhabi!?
...I'm just saying that because Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears and Janet Jackson said those words when they were there. Hehe hi!
Yeah, I have to say "there" now because I am back in my home country. Some of you might also notice the absence of my "Day #xx: xxx" On another irrelevant note, I stayed there for 1 month and 3 days.
Alhamdulillah I had a safe flight and journey back home. I went to the toilet thrice though. All in 1 hour. It was funny.. because I hurt my finger while trying to silently close the door. Everyone was mostly asleep at that time. See how considerate I am?? LOL
I didn't get a wink. Heck I didn't even want to. Instead I watched Friends With Benefits, Monte Carlo and Easy A. It was very comfortable because I had two seats to myself. I got to stretch my legs, bring 'em up and everything. It was tres cool. The downside was that this old couple took my seats and I was slow enough to only realize it after I've settled in the ones behind them. They got my window too! All I had was a few tiny peeks at theirs and the window behind me. Blah.
Oh yeah! I tried asking the stewardess for a cup of noodles when they were serving supper. Ultra cool! 'Ainul told me that her cousin asked for a cup when she was flying and I wanted to see if I could get one too. A tasteless brand but dude it's cup noodles on a plane!
I was greeted by my family of course and surprisingly, a sudden thin-looking Ali and his father, my uncle. They both look way thinner than I remembered. In Ali's case, he's growing up but my uncle.. whoa. What happened to you, dude!?
Moving on.. I bet you're wondering how was my Britney Spears concert. Well, if I were to summarize it in one word, it would be: Brilliant!
Britney looks older but she has been, since she shaved her own head off. Still, she was a fantastic performer. She looked as hot as she does in her music videos. Even my aunt who was there to accompany me and to take pictures, who didn't know her new songs, enjoyed it. the crowd was awesome. I was at the pit stand and there were a lot of kids who stood near me so it wasn't as rowdy as the people at the back. I wished I was in there with them instead for a couple of songs.
Still, it was a damn good concert. Comparing it to Janet Jackson's, Janet was horrible. I told you guys about it, didn't I? There were many cups of beer lying around. I bet they had to drink a lot to enjoy themselves at Janet's where as at Britney's, people were genuinely high enjoying her songs. Her remix made everything two times as great.
What happened after the concert was even greater! But I shan't share it. XO
